The current version of the Henderson Development Code was adopted on July 3, 2001.  It is provided online in three formats: a printable PDF format, the Visual Interactive Code (VIC) version, and as Title 19 of the Henderson Municipal Code.  The Development Code can also be purchased in hard copy from the Community Development Department located on the first floor in City Hall.

Development Code
The online Development Code is available in PDF format and always includes the most recent updates to the Code.  This version is offered to the user because of the printer-friendly feature.  You may also download a zip file of the entire  Development Code PDF format (approx. 10.6 MB).

Development Code Updates
As zoning ordinance amendments are adopted by City Council, they are incorporated into the Development Code and made available via the Development Code Updates.  The updates include an insertion guide giving instructions for pages to be removed and inserted into the Online Development Code, PDF format.  Once the code has been printed, the periodic updates to the Code may be placed into the original printed Code.

The Insertion Guide for the latest revision is available from the link above.  Replacement pages can currently be found in the above chapters respectively.  For your convenience, future supplements will be available as a bundled PDF in addition to the complete chapters.

To be notified when updates are available, please send an e-mail to planner@cityofhenderson.com with "Development Code Update Notification List" as the subject or call the Community Development Department at (702) 267-1500 and request to be added to the notification list. Updates can also be purchased in hard copy from the Community Development Department located on the first floor of City Hall.

Proposed Development Code Changes
The new draft development code update is now available for public review and comment in PDF format. Visual Interactive Code (VIC)
The City of Henderson's Visual Interactive Code, also known as VIC, is the multi-media component of the City's Development Code.  In addition to including the complete text of the City's Development Code, VIC also uses line diagrams, photographs, sound, and motion video to illustrate examples described in the code.

We apologize, however we are currently in the process of replacing our VIC application in coordination with our Development Code update.  Please check back soon for our new interactive version.  To reference the most current version of the Development Code, please refer to the PDF formats available on this page above.

Henderson Municipal Code (HMC)
The Development Code is incorporated into the Henderson Municipal Code (HMC) as Title 19 and is available in electronic format by clicking on the link above, or by contacting the City Clerk's Office.
