Professional Biography:
Jill Lynch was named Manager of Budget and Strategic Management in August 2008. She is responsible for overseeing the city of Henderson budget development and management, strategic planning, long-range financial planning, and performance benchmarking and measurement.
Jill has more than 16 years of government accounting and budget experience. She began her career at the Bureau of Reclamation regional office in Boulder City in 1992 in the Finance Department. She later joined the Clark County School District where she worked in both the accounting and budget offices.
She joined the city in April 2001 as an Administrative Analyst III and advanced to Senior Financial Analyst. Jill was instrumental in the development of the city’s current budget process and award-winning budget reports.
Lynch holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Nevada Government Finance Officers Association, and the International City/County Managers Association (ICMA).
