The Office of the City Clerk offers a full-service Passport Acceptance Program. Passport processing is available at City Hall Monday through Thursday between 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Prior to your visit, we encourage you to select, complete and print a Passport Application Form.
As a Passport Acceptance facility, the Office of the City Clerk assists in all aspects of the application process from application processing to ensuring all applications are processed in accordance with directives of the U.S. Department of State.
Beginning January 23, 2007, all persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda as well as with all other international travel are required to have a passport. Standard service is currently taking 4 to 6 weeks from date of application. Expedited service for passport delivery within 2 - 3 weeks is available for an additional fee of $60.00 per application plus optional overnight delivery costs.
On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.
