YOU can make a difference! Whether you’re participating in a
community event or you’re casting your vote on Election Day, your participation
does make a difference.
The Blue Ribbon Commission on Excellence in Education and Youth Opportunity joined up with the City of Henderson to
present you the most up-to-date info about Henderson Municipal Elections and voter
registration.
Henderson Municipal Elections are OPEN. You may vote for any candidate,
regardless of your party affiliation. The municipal elections are also
NONPARTISAN. Candidates’ party affiliations do not appear on the ballot or in
the sample ballot.
The Mayor and four city Councilmembers are elected at large. This means the
council is elected by the entire body of voters rather than by individual areas
of the city. Although, no two councilmen can be from the same ward of the city's
four wards. |
