Alternative Sentencing

 D.A.R.T. Program

The Henderson Alternative Sentencing Department's (HASD) Drug and Alcohol Random Testing program (DART) monitors offenders who have been ordered by the Henderson Municipal Court to be randomly tested for the detection of drug and/or alcohol use as a condition of sentencing and/or bail.

Offenders that have been ordered into the DART program are required to report to the HASD immediately upon sentencing and or release from custody for the initial intake process. During this process the offender will be assigned a color and number specific to their case as a personal identifier. The offender will be given the DART line contact number 267-1267. The offender will be informed that it is their responsibility to call the number EVERY EVENING after 8:00 p.m. They are to listen to the recording for their assigned personal identifier. If their identifier is called they will be required to report for testing on the following day.

Offenders that will be leaving the jurisdiction for any amount of time are required to contact their Case Specialist for approval of an alternate testing procedure. The offender will be required to show proof of the travel out of jurisdiction upon their return.
