FACILITIES AND PARKS
Participate in various court games, such as volleyball and basketball.
Check the online gym calendar or visit the front desk for activity
schedules and policies. A Participant ID card is required.
Participant ID Card
Show your Participant ID card to enjoy select amenities and
participate in free classes. Get your card at any recreation center. A
new card or renewal is $25 for adults, $5 for youth and teens, and free
for seniors and veterans. A replacement card is just $5.
Gym availability at the Downtown Recreation Center is subject
to change. Please check with the front desk for activity schedules and
policies. A Participant ID card is required.
Players ages 7-12: signed waiver and a parent on the court; ages 13-17:
waiver signed by a parent/guardian on file. Reservations accepted up to
7 days in advance for patrons without memberships. $4 per person per
hour. Reservations accepted up to 14 days in advance for patrons with
memberships (p. 106). Be prompt or your court may be relinquished. Check
each recreation center for availability.
Rock Climbing Wall
Open rock wall climbing at Henderson Multigenerational Center from 4:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
Climbers must be at least 8 years of age. Climbers under the age of 12 must
be accompanied by an adult. $6 per hour, $3.50 for a half hour. For climbing
wall rentals, see page 107.
Senior Dimensions Benefits
The Fit for Life Club is a fitness benefit available to Senior Dimensions
members that includes:
• 30 participations per month to use pools and fitness rooms.
• One free Senior Dimensions-eligible class (up to a $46 value) at
Eligible classes and activities have the notation “A Senior Dimensions
benefit.” Register in person at any of our recreation facilities; bring
your Senior Dimensions card and a photo ID. Registration is not
available online or by mail.
Play volleyball on a racquetball court. Reservations accepted up to 7
days in advance. Any alteration to equipment and your court may be
relinquished without refund. $11/court/hour (bring exact change).
The Henderson Convention Center, Henderson Events Plaza and
Henderson Pavilion host a wide variety of signature and special
events year round. These facilities may also be rented for
meetings, conventions, performances, concerts, weddings and special
events (p. 107).
