Your Guide to Fun!
Henderson Happenings features hundreds of programs and events offered by the City of Henderson
for you, your family and your friends to enjoy. For your convenience, there are three easy ways to
register for Parks and Recreation programs—online, by mail, and in person at any recreation center.
Registration begins at 6:00 a.m. on March 20 and is ongoing until classes fill. We recommend that you
register early because some programs fill very quickly, while others may be canceled if minimum
enrollment is not met. Tickets for events hosted at the Henderson Pavilion can be purchased at
cityofhenderson.com or by phone at 702-267-4TIX (4849).
About the Cover
As a Nevada resident for over 40 years, Mayor Debra March has built a career of helping our community
and our state be a better place to live. Mayor March has outlined five broad priorities that will frame
the city’s long-term efforts to improve on and protect what has been accomplished in Henderson.
These priorities are: enhancing transparency and communications, strengthening and diversifying
Henderson’s economy, improving public safety, continuing to provide a quality community, and actively
participating to improve education.
Mayor March holds monthly “March On” meetings designed to encourage an open dialogue between
neighbors and city leaders regarding issues of importance to those who live in the City of Henderson.
Visit cityofhenderson.com/MarchOn for upcoming events.
