These programs promote wellness, physical activity and social interaction through recreational play that is provided in safe and positive environments. For information, call 702-267-5717. Registration Registration for first-time adult league teams must be made in person at the Sports office in the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex (behind the adult softball fields) off American Pacific Drive. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. weekdays and 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturdays. Bring your sponsor’s check with you when registering; we cannot hold checks or cash for any reason. Returning teams may register online. All players are required to purchase an Annual Adult Sports Pass. All adult sports league participants are required to have an Annual Adult Sports Pass. Passes can be purchased in person at any recreation center or the Sports office. Prices are below and based on residence: Henderson $15 Clark County $17.25 Outside Clark County $18.25 Basketball The basketball program offers a regular season and an end-of-season tournament with recreational and competitive divisions available. Games are played weekday evenings at City of Henderson recreation centers. All teams are required to have matching reversible jerseys with numbers on the front and back. Competitive and recreational league play is available Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Summer Season Team registration $300 Official $25/team/game ($30 for playoff games) Registration available through June 4, 2016 Play begins week of June 13 Play ends week of Aug. 10 Flag Football The men’s 5 v. 5 and co-rec 6 v. 6 flag football program offers a regular season and a playoff with games played on Sunday afternoons and evenings. This non-contact sport requires that all teammates have matching jerseys with numbers (flags provided). Summer Season Team registration $200 Official $30/team/game Registration available through May 21, 2016 Play begins week of May 29 Play ends week of July 31 Soccer The men’s and co-rec 7 v. 7 soccer program offers a regular season and a playoff with games played on Sunday afternoons and evenings. All teams are required to have matching uniforms. The field is shorter and narrower than a standard soccer field to allow for the smaller team size. First player to hit a home run qualifies as the home run hitter for that game. Any other home runs by non-qualifying players result in an out. This division features a higher skill and competition level. E Division No home runs allowed. This division is for the recreation-level player and offers an opportunity for organizations to build camaraderie. Seniors Designed for players 40+, this program is administered by Henderson Sports Group in conjunction with the City of Henderson. All leagues are double headers. For additional information, contact Henderson Sports Group at 702-683-7700 or at MGFSLP@cox.net. 2016 ADULT SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT Henderson Anniversary Tournament Held in recognition of the City of Henderson’s anniversary of incorporation, this tournament offers men’s D and E and co-rec upper and lower divisions of play. First, second and third place award packages are presented. Games are played at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex and Russell Road Recreation Complex. Registration: March 7-April 13, 2016 Team entry: $200 Tournament play: April 16-17 All tournaments are NSA officiated.
