Henderson Data Explorer and Open Data Enhance Transparency and Accessibility Transparency. Collaboration. Progress. This is the platform of open government and the hallmarks of the city’s convenient Open Data and Henderson Data Explorer portals. It’s a collaborative way for the city to share information in real time and make it easily accessible to a wide range of stakeholders, including the media, businesses, entrepreneurs, real estate professionals, students and engaged citizens. Open Data provides access to public information such as active business licenses and park locations and amenities. It enables users to learn if a business holds a valid license or check to see which parks feature basketball courts. Access the information you need and choose options to visualize it for reports, presentations or personal use. Henderson Data Explorer enables you to search and explore real-time datasets for Henderson’s economy, labor force, real estate markets and neighborhood demographics. Information is continuously updated to provide the most current data available. Choose from a variety of datasets, including labor force, unemployment, consolidated tax distribution, and home closings and median closing prices. Datasets are also available for the office industrial and retail markets, including inventory, vacant space and rates, planned space and under construction space. Additional options enable users to compare local data to that of metropolitan areas nationwide. The portal also enables users to make real-time data comparisons to data among statistics presented for the Las Vegas Valley, City of Henderson, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas and unincorporated Clark County. The portal, which includes only non-personally identifiable data, also enables residents to view neighborhood demographics by ZIP code, including population, household type, ethnicity, gender, average age, average household income, and estimated educational attainment.
