In 2000, the city had a total room inventory of 1,752. Since then, the total number of hotel/ motel rooms has more than doubled (see table page 28). In 2015, Henderson hotels and motels generated over one million room nights, bringing over 615,000 visitors to the city. Additionally, average daily rate increased by 3.4 percent while the citywide occupancy increased to 75 percent.
