Henderson Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police are investigating the death of a 63-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman on the 100 block of Metropolitan Drive.

On today’s date at approximately 06:50 a.m., Henderson Police responded to the 100 block of Metropolitan Drive reference a deceased male and female that had been located by the females care provider.

Preliminary investigation indicates that upon arrival to the residence, the care provider located both subjects within the residence with no apparent signs of life and immediately called for police and medical response.

Information provided indicates that the female victim suffered from various medical conditions.

The male and female had apparent gunshot wounds and the deaths appear to be the result of an apparent murder-suicide.

The names of the couple will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending the next of kin notification.

This is being investigated as the sixth homicide in Henderson for 2018.
