Henderson Police Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman on the 2500 block of Vegas Vic Street.

On September 2, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Henderson Police and Fire responded to the 2500 block of Vegas Vic Street reference a male who alleged to have shot his wife and was threatening to shoot himself upon police arrival.

Preliminary investigation indicates that upon arrival to the residence, both the female and male were located within the residence with no apparent signs of life and had what appeared to be fatal injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

The deaths appear to be the result of an apparent murder-suicide.

The names of the couple will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending the next of kin notification.

This is being investigated as the seventh homicide in Henderson for 2018.
