Early Priority Enrollment Available for Henderson Safekey and Teen Scene Programs

Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson is offering early priority registration for the 2018-2019 school year’s Safekey and Teen Scene (before- and after-school recreational enrichment) programs hosted by the city at all Henderson public elementary, middle and junior high schools.

Priority registration is available at four of the city’s recreation centers from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, July 24-Aug. 2, and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27 and Aug. 3. Locations are:
Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Rd.
Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.
Silver Springs Recreation Center, 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy.
Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Dr.

Parents may also register at City Hall Annex, 280 S. Water St. (adjacent to Henderson City Hall) from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday,    July 23 through Aug. 10, and from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11.
Early registration provides an opportunity for parents to complete necessary enrollment forms for each child prior to the beginning of the new school year. There is a $10 annual registration charge per participant. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
