Henderson Police Seek the Public’s Help in Solving 2016 Carjacking and Stabbing of Uber Driver

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police are seeking the public’s assistance with an on-going investigation into a carjacking and stabbing of an Uber driver that occurred last December.

On December 14, 2016, at about 10 p.m., Henderson Police responded to a carjacking call involving a victim that had been stabbed at The Equestrian apartments, located at 10701 Eastern Ave. The male victim, an Uber driver, responded to the location to pick up a fare when a suspect slashed his neck and then carjacked his gold Chevrolet Captiva with Nevada license plate 899 ZCW. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered in Las Vegas near the 2800 block of Cedar St.

The suspect is described as a white male adult with blue eyes and blonde hair, approximately 25-30 years old, between five feet ten inches and 6 feet tall, approximately 150-175 pounds a red tattoo under his right wrist.

The victim suffered severe injuries to his neck and is continuing a lengthy recovery

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in this case as they continue to investigate leads.
