Henderson Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

Henderson, Nev. – Henderson Police are seeking the public’s assistance with an attempted robbery where the victim was struck in the face with a hammer.

The violent attack occurred around 5:20 a.m. on Aug. 18 in the parking lot of Shakespeare’s Grille and Pub located at 790 Coronado Center Dr.

The adult male victim was standing with a female in the parking lot when a suspect approached them, immediately striking the male victim in the face with a cross-pein hammer, while demanding their valuables. The victim retrieved his firearm after being struck in the face, causing the suspect to drop the hammer and run from the area without any of the victim’s property. The victim did not fire his weapon.

The victim sustained a broken nose, fractured left eye socket and a laceration above the eye.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, between five feet eight inches and five feet eleven inches tall, 150-180 pounds, wearing all black with a blue mask.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in this case as they continue to investigate leads.
